Hugs.

Human connection.

One of the things we’re most looking forward to is hugging our friends and family, seeing it on the street, in supermarkets, hugging our couples, filming hugs at weddings.

We’re huggers.

Seeing people hold their loved ones tightly, friends participating in group hugs, handshakes, high fives, head scrubs.

We miss it all and we can’t wait to see it all again; we genuinely believe each and every hug once this is all over is going to mean so much more than it did before x

Take care everyone

Hello There everyone!

Hope everyone is doing grand and enjoying some lovely April sunshine.

Lockdown is tough but when the sun shines it eases it a little, don't you think?

We're taking part in an online wedding fair and we had to film ourselves for a change, talking about how we work, package options and the like, and the whole process certainly highlighted that we're better off behind the camera than in front!

So to give a bit of humour to your weekend we've got a short blooper reel for you to feast your eyes on. Watch su stumble over words and make silly noises.

Worryingly, quite a lot of mistakes were made for such a short script we had to get through.

I doubt me and Charlotte would make it into any Hollywood blockbusters!

Let us know how your weekend is going so far, what your plans are.

We're gonna try and get another BBQ in and continue to (fingers crossed) save the front lawn! Take care everyone x

“I think because it was an emotional story, and emotions come through much stronger in black and white. Colour is distracting in a way; it pleases the eye but it doesn’t necessarily reach the heart”

- Kim Hunter on emotive expression through B+W film.

Hello There everyone!

Did you know that we offer black and white edits?

Here's a little look back at Jade and Sam's gorgeous winter celebrations at the beautiful Low Hall in the Lake District; this time in gorgeous, moody, romantic monotone.

Black and white lends itself so well to wedding films; without the 'distraction' of colour you concentrate more on what's going on in the frame, you can push the contrast more (promise I won't get too technical) which adds to the drama and suspense, and in our opinion looks uber romantic and timeless.

All of our packages come with a few beautiful prints of stills from your film, and our black and white package will come with even more on delivery. Have a look at some from Jade and Sam's day below...

Don't get us wrong, colour is super important for your wedding day (and decisions on colour of everything are not to be taken lightly) which is why we're offering black and white edits as an optional add on to your package. We understand it won't be for everyone, but if you want to have a chat about adding one to your package, then do let us know!

Have a wonderful day everyone
