We love filming winter weddings, in fact, our first ever wedding we filmed was a winter wedding. There's something beautiful and romantic about winter weddings; maybe it's the low winter sun, the cold temperatures, overcoats, fire pits, or the colour the Great British countryside gets around Christmas time.
When we first met Jade and Sam, we knew it was going to be a lovely romantic day. We met in a micropub inside a metro station (shout out to http://www.leftluggageroom.co.uk/) and we chatted and heard all about themselves, personal creative touches for their wedding day, amongst much more.
We also knew it was going to be quite the party! With their love of snow holidays, it was obvious that the energy was going to be high on the day, and they both couldn't have asked for better support throughout, particularly during speech time!
We shot alongside the wonderful Sally T Photography at Low Hall, the Lakes, just outside of Cockermouth. A beautiful converted barn, ran by some lovely folk (Francesca and Ben, who have the most amazing story - check out their website!). The Lake District is one of our very favourite places to visit; shooting here was always going to be a treat!
Jade and Sam's day was full of laughter, smiles, love, family and friends. The ceremony, speeches, stories we heard from guests, all added to the wonderful celebration that was their day. It was very fitting that Jade and Sam were drinking shots from a ski to end their night!
We were over the moon to end 2019 on such a high, and super excited to share their film in the next couple of days.

Nicola and Krishna's beautiful Hindu wedding blessing was an amazing day of colour and love. The amount of love in the room was so wonderful to witness, from the prep with folk running around all morning getting everything set up, to the words said during the *slightly* longer than normal ceremony, to the family and friends gathered after to celebrate :)
