Kaitlyn & Garrett’s 3 days extravaganza in London was our absolute pleasure to capture. A destination wedding with guests travelling all the way from the USA. And what a party these two threw! Watch their full wedding film and read all about their day below.
As guests had travelled all the way from across the pond, what better way to kick things off than a cruise along the river Thames to take in all the sights?? The perfect welcome event that was so much fun to film with guests mingling, chatting, canapés being passed around all with some of the most famous buildings in London towering over us.
The next day we were back on dry land at the beautiful NoMad in Covent Garden for a rehearsal dinner. This took place in the Magistrates’ Ballroom and what a room it is! It’s moody and whimsical and we loved it. This was gorgeously adorned with magnolia branches, moss and candles on the long tables which made added a magical woodland fairytale atmosphere to the proceedings. This set the stage perfectly for the emotional toasts we heard, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Kaitlyn chose two dresses for the evening, the first of which was her mother’s wedding dress, we loved this sentimental touch.
The big day itself started off for Kaitlyn and her bridal party in an elegant NoMad suite overlooking the Royal Opera House. Kaitlyn had a whole army of beautiful bridesmaids all getting ready together, we always feel so lucky to be able to capture these moments. Garrett and his groomsmen had their final moments of preparations in the opulent Common Decency bar in the Nomad. With it's plush seating and refined atmosphere, it was perfect for some final words of wisdom to our groom. It was soon time for our gorgeous bride to put her spectacular dress on and head off to get married!
The whole wedding party boarded a red London bus to get to One Great George Street a grand, grade II listed, Edwardian building in central London. We were greeted by what seemed like a whole forest of flowers on the central staircase! The scent was divine. After Kaitlyn & Garrett exchanged some heartfelt vows in the beautiful ceremony we got to have a little wander for some portraits with Big Ben in the background.
We headed back in for dinner and dancing and WOW the historic room looked breath taking with the all white floral scheme with enormous chandeliers everywhere you looked! After a lot of dancing to the amazing band and an another outfit change for Kaitlyn, the happy couple ran through a tunnel of confetti and drove off into the night in a vintage, open top Land Rover. It was a glorious day of capturing everyone mingling and sipping champagne topped off with an incredibly high energy, jam-packed dance floor complete with an espresso martini trolley being wheeled around. The whole weekend was non-stop and we had so much fun! Thank you so much Kaitlyn & Garrett for a wonderful few days.

Really close to the end of the film, the newly weds are dancing in the crowd and the band's lights light them both up for just a millisecond in the crowd. The looked like movie stars for the whole weekend, but in this moment even more so!
Craig’s
Hard to pick a moment from the whole weekend but a particular highlight for me was the sunset we got on the Thames the day before the rehearsal dinner, it was pretty special. Everyone enjoying themselves and seeing the scenery was a special moment for me.
